In Fairyland, in the Realm of Summer Breezes, lies a sleepy,
blue lake.
In the middle of the sleepy, blue lake is a secret island. On the secret island is a wood, full of leafy trees. Standing in the wood is a tall oak tree, much older than all the other trees, and far grander. On one of the lower branches of the tall oak tree, about half-way along, is a magpie's nest containing a silver spoon (which the magpie has stolen). On the ground directly beneath the magpie's nest is a stone sundial, covered in ivy. Not far from the stone sundial is a beehive. If you stand at the stone sundial and look towards the beehive, a little way beyond it you'll see a small glade. At one end of the small glade, in the shade of a holly tree, is a fairy ring. Close to the fairy ring is a patch of tiny, scarlet flowers. The tiny, scarlet flowers grow up against the front of a large, grey rock. On the other side of the large, grey rock is a barrel, which has fallen to pieces. The barrel fell to pieces when it hit the large, grey rock after rolling down a gentle slope. You can see the gentle slope from the top of the large, grey rock. If you climb the gentle slope, you'll find a weathered tree stump. Growing on the tree weathered tree stump is an enormous toadstool. And underneath the enormous toadstool is the home of the elf! SoIf you want to write a letter to the elf, always turn the envelope length-ways first...
